“Brad Laurvick is the leader DPS has been waiting for. For far too long, out-of-state billionaires have had a greater say in our kids’ futures than Denver parents and teachers. Brad will stand up to corporate special interests and give the power back to the community.”

State Representative Joe Salazar

"As chair of the public Healthcare and Human Services committee at the Colorado General Assembly, I know how important it is to have public education advocates who understand the critical nature of mental health when it comes to our students' success. Brad has been a friendly face and fierce advocate at the state legislature, and Denver schools would be lucky to have him at the local level."
State Representative Jonathan Singer
State Representative Bri Buentello
"Brad knows that when we listen to our educators, our children will get the education they deserve. As a teacher, I know how important it is to have a school board that values and respects those who take care of our students. That’s why I’m supporting Brad Laurvick for DPS Board of Education, District 5."
State Representative Bri Buentello
State Representative Alex Valdez

State Senator Jessie Danielson

Community Organizations

Working Families Party

Brad Laurvick is a candidate with deep roots in the community, and who is united with his neighbors in demanding strong neighborhood schools. He organized support for Denver educators during the strike, and is a longtime advocate for social justice. We know that as a member of the Denver School Board he will continue to stand with the many, not the wealthy few.
